No. 17 Vanderbilt posted a winning week with two wins over Southeastern La. in the midweek and a Sunday victory over CSUN… The team entered the week with just two home runs in the first seven games but hit nine round trippers during the five-game week… The Commodores rallied to beat Southeastern La. on Tuesday 9-6 with Collin Snider picking up the win out of the bullpen… Jeren Kendall led the way with his second career two home run game as part of a three-hit day with four RBIs… Freshman Harrison Ray added his first career homer… The Dores rallied again in on Wednesday to take down the Lions 4-2… Paxton Stover earned the win out of the bullpen in his Vanderbilt debut… Ro Coleman had a pair of singles with home runs from Julian Infante and freshman JJ Bleday the difference… The Commodores matched a season-high with 12 left on base in Friday’s 6-4 loss to CSUN… Kyle Wright took his second loss of the season after allowing five runs, three earned, on six hits with eight strikeouts over five innings… Julian Infante had three hits and Ethan Paul added two hits and two runs scored… Will Toffey hit his first home run since 2015 with a two-run shot in the first inning… The Vandy offense struggled in a 4-1 loss on Saturday to CSUN with a season-low four hits… Patrick Raby was pegged with his first loss of the year despite allowing three runs, one earned, on four hits with seven strikeouts over six innings… The Commodores salvaged Sunday’s game with an 11-3 win… The VU offense walked nine times and went 7-for-10 with runners in scoring position… Ethan Paul hit a pair of solo home runs as eight different Dores recorded hits… Drake Fellows earned his second win of the year with six innings of work, giving up one run on eight hits with five strikeouts… Vanderbilt hosts five games at Hawkins Field for the second straight week with Central Arkansas on Tuesday and Wednesday and Saint Mary’s for a three-game series beginning Friday.
