Five Commodore golfers from the number-one ranked Commodore men’s golf team will tee it up this weekend at the Jones Cup Invitational in Sea Island, Ga., at the Ocean Forest Golf Club in one of amateur golf’s most prestigious events. Senior Matthias Schwab, junior Theo Humphrey, sophomores Will Gordon and Patrick Martin, and freshman John Augenstein will all take part in the event this Friday through Sunday.
The Ocean Forest Golf Club will be set up as a par-72, 7,321-yard format for the weekend.
Vanderbilt will begin their spring season in two weeks at the All-American Intercollegiate in Houston, Texas, February 17-19.
