The National Ten Pin Coaches Association took note of Vanderbilt’s improved January play and moved the Commodores up one notch to fifth in its poll released Wednesday.
Vanderbilt, with a record of 48-20, has been third (at Mid-Winter Classic), first (at Kutztown Invitational) and second (Prairie View Invitational) since the spring semester schedule resumed.
Nebraska, Arkansas State, McKendree and Sam Houston were tabbed as the top four teams by the nation’s head coaches. A new poll is issued at the beginning of each month during the bowling season.
