On campus in Nashville — Kyle Shurmur finished the 2016 season as strong as any quarterback in the SEC. In his final four games of the regular season, the sophomore completed 61.2 percent of his throws and averaged 290.5 passing yards per game. He capped his latest campaign with a breakout performance in a 45-34 win over rival Tennessee last Saturday, throwing for a career-high 416 yards along with two touchdowns in the victory.
