With a great crowd and some great questions from audience, the debut of Stephanie White’s radio show at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse was a huge success on Wednesday night.

The inaugural show, which was broadcast on Vanderbilt WBB’s flagship stations, WNSR 560 AM and 95.9 FM, was the first of six shows that White will have this season. The remaining shows are scheduled for: Jan. 9, 16, 23 and Feb. 6 and 20. Fans are invited to attend all shows.

During Wednesday’s show — which was hosted by Vanderbilt WBB play-by-play announcer Charlie Mattos — White took questions from the crowd and also by phone and from Twitter. The Q-and-A session will be a part of each show.

White said the Vanderbilt basketball program is “so excited to be partnering with Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse,” and said she thinks the show is “a fun, interactive” way to connect with fans. “We invite the fans to come be a part of it,” she said.

The show is held in the Library Room at Ruth’s Chris and cocktail seating is available. On broadcast dates, Happy Hour will be extended through 7 p.m. and will include food and drink specials.

Vanderbilt opens the season on Nov. 11, hosting Kennesaw State, in a contest that marks White’s debut with the Commodores. Ticket information can be found HERE or by calling 615-322-GOLD.
