On campus in Nashville — Vanderbilt men’s basketball is set for a new era under head coach Bryce Drew, and senior forward Luke Kornet stands to be a big part of the Commodores’ 2016-17 season — no pun intended. The 7’1” Kornet and the Commodores tip off their season on Friday against Marquette in Annapolis, Maryland. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Ahead of the season-opener, Kornet sat down with the Commodore Insider Podcast to discuss Vanderbilt’s direction under Drew, his path to West End, growing up in a basketball family and what everyday life is like as a seven-footer.
