In its second exhibition match of the season, the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team defeated Union University by a score of 93-43 on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Gym.
10 different players scored for Vanderbilt, including four in double figures, led by Erin Whalen with 21 points. Christa Reed (19), Kayla Overbeck (16), and Rachel Bell (10) were the other three players to reach double figures for the Commodores.
The regular season for the Commodores will kick off at Memorial Gym next Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. (CT) against Kennesaw State.
