On campus in Nashville — Derek Mason is in his third season as head coach of the Vanderbilt football program, and the Commodores are enjoying some nice momentum eight games into 2016. Vanderbilt has won two straight games for the first time under Mason and has reached 4-4 on the season. During that stretch, the ‘Dores snagged a 17-16 win at Georgia on Oct. 15, the program’s first SEC road win under Mason.
This week the Commodores enjoy an open date before they venture to Auburn next Saturday, Nov. 5.
