CALI, COLUMBIA—Two Vanderbilt connected bowlers had solid showings in the singles competition of the Pan American Bowling Confederation Championship, which began here Monday and will continue through the week.
Giselle Poss, a Commodore senior competing for Puerto Rico, finished in ninth place with a 219.17 average in the star-studded international field. Vanderbilt assistant bowling coach Josie Earnest was 15th with a 214.33 average competing for the United States.
Missy Parkin, another bowling for Uncle Sam, won the event with a hefty 239.50 average over six games.
