The Vanderbilt women’s golf team gets its 2016-17 season underway on Tuesday when they take part in the Fall Kickoff, a 36-hole, one-day event hosted by the University of Louisville at the Berkeley Hills Country Club in Duluth, Ga. Play gets underway at 8:45 a.m. Eastern time.
The Commodores, who return three starters from 2015-16, will compete against Auburn, Augusta, Charleston, Georgia, and Georgia State, will send senior Kate Sborov, junior Alexandra Farnsworth, sophomore Courtney Zeng, and freshmen Alison Armstrong and Abbey Carlson for the team competition, with seniors Lauren Johnson and Antonia Scherer playing as individuals.
The Berkeley Hills Country Club will be set up as a par-72, 6,183-yard layout.
