Vanderbilt faculty and staff are invited to stop by and see the progress of the Commodore football team on Tuesday, August 23.
Head Coach Derek Mason is making the invitation to all faculty and staff on Tuesday between 6:45-8:30 a.m. The practice is scheduled outside at the John Rich Complex behind McGugin Athletics Center, though inclement weather could move it into the Multipurpose Facility next to Vanderbilt’s Recreation Center.
Free coffee and donuts will be available to faculty and staff while supplies last.
“We encourage faculty members and staffers to come by and see how hard the guys are working and preparing for the upcoming season,” Mason said.
Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to pick up this year’s team poster and schedule card.
Vanderbilt begins its 2016 season on Thursday, Sept. 1 hosting Southeastern Conference opponent South Carolina. The opener kicks off at 7 p.m., CT.
Season tickets packages starting at $206 for premium sideline seats and $141 for end-zone locations are available for university faculty and staff.
