LAS VEGAS—Vanderbilt’s Robyn Renslow finished among the Top 12 of the USBC Queens Wednesday after dropping two matches to highly rated opponents.
The recent Vandy graduate, a two-time first-team All-American, lost to Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane, 695-660, in the morning and then ran into one of the tournament’s hottest bowlers in Danielle McEwan in the loser’s bracket and lost, 761-628.
“Robyn did a terrific job in her first Queens tournament,” said Vanderbilt Coach John Williamson. “This is the first of the Professional Women’s Bowlers Association majors and it draws the greatest bowlers in the world. A Top 12 finish in your first try is pretty remarkable.”
