Kendall posted hits in all four games during the Commodores perfect week going 7-for-16 (.438) with RBI and three of the four wins.
Drove in two runs and collected a team-high three hits in win over Austin Peay on Tuesday.
Tripled in two runs and scored runs in Friday’s win over Georgia, knocking in a run for the third straight game.
Capped big week with three RBI in Sunday’s victory, including a two-run homer for his eighth home run of the season.

Sheffield won his third straight start with his third straight scoreless outing, tossing seven innings and striking out six to beat Georgia and run his scoreless streak to 24 innings.
Allowed only three base runners to reach scoring position, pitching out of a jam in the second inning with two runners in scoring position and left runner at second in the sixth inning.
Gave up seven singles, one in each of his seven innings.
Over his last three starts the Tullahoma, Tenn. native has 24 strikeouts and four walks over 24 innings.

Commodore Notes
No. 8 Vanderbilt posted a perfect 4-0 week with a win over Austin Peay on Tuesday and a series sweep of Georgia over the weekend at Hawkins Field… The Commodores played Austin Peay for the first time since 2010 and emerged with an 8-5 victory on Tuesday… VU posted 15 hits in the win led by three hits each from Jeren Kendall and Alonzo Jones… Donny Everett made his first career start and allowed one run on two hits over four innings… Matt Ruppenthal picked up his fourth win with two scoreless innings of relief… Vandy jumped on Georgia early Friday night with four runs in the first and eight more in the third en route to a 15-3 win… Bryan Reynolds reached base five times, scored four runs and hit two doubles and his league-leading 10th homer of the year, including his eighth in league play… Jordan Sheffield continued to dominate with seven more scoreless innings running his streak to 24 scoreless innings in his team-best seventh win of the year… The Commodores claimed the series with a 10-3 win on Saturday behind a solid outing from Kyle Wright, who struck out nine over seven innings for his fifth win… Will Toffey matched a season-high with three runs and three hits in the win… VU finished off the team’s fifth series sweep of the season on Sunday with a 10-3 win jumping on the Bulldogs early with a Julian Infante two-run homer in the first inning… Infante’s 1st inning home run was the first of a team season-high four in the win with Jeren Kendall, Ethan Paul and Karl Ellison all hitting round trippers… The offense pushed its streak to four straight games with at least 10 hits and scored 10+ runs for the third straight game… Patrick Raby earned the win with six-plus innings, allowing two runs on three hits with six strikeouts… Vanderbilt hosts Western Kentucky on Tuesday before heading to College Station for the first time ever for a big series with No. 2 Texas A&M.
