The NCAA announces the eight programs selected by its Bowling Committee to compete for the 2016 national championship Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. CDT. The announcement will be live-streamed on NCAA.com.
The Commodores have gained a berth in the eight-team field every year of the program’s existence with the exception of the first year before the team had any recruited student-athletes. It has enjoyed considerable success over those 10 years with one national championship(2007) and two NCAA finalist finishes (2011 and 2013).
The championship will be held in New Brunswick, N.J. April 14-16. In addition to the team championship, the National Ten Pin Coaches Association will announce its All-America teams at the pre-tournament dinner April 13.
