Posted a monster week going 11-for-20 (.550) with six extra-base hits, nine runs and nine RBI to help Vanderbilt go 5-0.
Finished a home run shy of the cycle in Wednesday win over Eastern Illinois, scoring two runs and driving in one.
Recorded three hits for the second straight game hitting his first home run of the season and driving in three runs in Friday win over UIC.
Three more hits on Saturday helped VU top UIC in 14 innings with his third hit of the game tying the game in the bottom of the 14th and his second hit of the game going for his second home run in as many days and starting a game-tying rally in the sixth.
Wrapped up a big week with three runs and two RBI to help Commodores finish sweep of UIC on Sunday.

Set a new career-high with 11 strikeouts while matching his career-best with seven scoreless innings in win over UIC on Friday.
Did not allow a runner to reach scoring position until his final inning in the seventh with a passed ball and wild pitch allowed a runner to reach third.
Struck out at least one in six of seven innings while scattering five hits.

Recorded at least one strikeout in six of seven innings and did not allow a runner past second base.

Commodore Notes
No. 3 Vanderbilt stayed perfect with a 5-0 week, outscoring the three opponents 55-20 during the week… The Commodores opened up the week with a soggy, rain-shortened 11-6 win over UT Martin in five innings… Ro Coleman drove in three runs with a pair of hits as Chandler Day earned his first win in his first career start… Day allowed two runs on three hits with six strikeouts over four innings… Vanderbilt dominated in a 9-1 win over Eastern Illinois on Wednesday behind a stellar start from Patrick Raby… The freshman carried a no hitter into the seventh inning before an infield single broke up the bid… Raby finished with 11 strikeouts over seven one-hit, scoreless innings… Bryan Reynolds collected three hits in the win, finishing a home run shy of the cycle… The Dores posted the team’s first shutout of the season in a series-opening 9-0 win over UIC on Friday… Jordan Sheffield set a new career-high with 11 strikeouts while matching his career-best with seven scoreless innings to earn his second win… Bryan Reynolds posted his second straight three-hit game hitting his first home run of the year while driving in three runs… VU clinched the series on Saturday surviving UIC 6-5 in 14 innings… Alonzo Jones was the hero drawing a bases loaded walk to force in the winning run in the 14th… Bryan Reynolds tied the game in the 14th with two outs with his third hit of the day for his third straight three-hit game… The Commodores finished off the sweep in a big way with a 20-8 win on Sunday as the squad posted season-bests with 20 runs and 20 hits… 15 different Commodores posted at least one hit as the Dores collected at least 10 hits for the seventh time in eight games… Karl Ellison matched his career-best with three hits, including his first home run of the year… Kyle Wright earned his first win of the season with three scoreless innings, striking out six… Excluding the ninth inning this season, Vanderbilt has scored in eight of the 11 innings the Dores’ opponents have scored in this season… The Commodores host Tennessee Tech at a special time of 3 p.m. on Tuesday before taking the team’s first road trip of the season with a visit to Stanford for a three-game series over the weekend.
