-Vanderbilt improved to 18-11, 10-6 in SEC play after the 74 -62 win over Kentucky on a Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gym.
-The Commodores started Luke Kornet, Jeff Roberson, Damian Jones, Wade Baldwin IV, and Matthew Fisher-Davis. Vanderbilt has a 7-3 record using that starting lineup this season. Vanderbilt trailed at the half 39-36, but outscored the Wildcats 38 to 23 in the second half.
-The win over the Wildcats ended a three-game losing streak, dating back to the 2013 SEC Tournament in Nashville (64-48, 3/15/13). The win was VU’s first over the Wildcats in Memorial Gym since an 81-77 victory on February 12, 2011.

Team
-The Commodores shot 41.9% from the floor and 37.5% from three on the day. Vanderbilt held Kentucky to only 27.3% from three and 41.8% from the floor. In the second half, VU limited UK to 26.9% from the field and 15.4% from three.
-Vanderbilt out rebounded the Wildcats 39 to 37.
-Vanderbilt extended their streak by making at least one three pointer for 960 games in a row.
-The Commodores had 11 assists on 26 made baskets. Vanderbilt only had 5 turnovers for the game, which ties for the lowest all season. Both teams combined for only 10 total turnovers.
-Kentucky shot only 43.5% from the free throw line (10-23).
-The game was tied one times and the lead changed four times. Vanderbilt’s largest lead was the final margin (+12).
-The Commodores out scored the Wildcats, 19-11, in second-chance points and 36-26 in points in the paint.
-The two teams combined for only one bench point (Riley LaChance free throw).

Individual
– Wade Baldwin,Damian Jones, Jeff Roberson, and Matthew Fisher-Davis all finished the game scoring in double digits.
-Matthew-Fisher-Davis led Vanderbilt in scoring on the day. He finished the game in double digits for the 15th time and tied his career high with 20 points and was 4-9 from three point range. It is the 15th time this season that Fisher-Davis has made at least 3 threes in a game.
-Damian Jones added his 23rd double digit performance of the season. Jones finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
-Jeff Roberson recorded double figures for the 17th time this season. Roberson finished with 16 points to go along with 8 rebounds.
-Wade Baldwin finished the day with 14 points to go along with 6 assists. It is the 13th time this season Baldwin has finished a game with 5 or more assists.
