Vanderbilt football fans will have two chances each week to witness the progress of their Commodores during Spring Practice on campus.

All of the team’s Monday and Wednesday practices throughout Spring Ball will be open to Commodore fans, Head Coach Derek Mason said.

Throughout Spring Practice, the Monday and Wednesday sessions will be held during morning hours, starting about 7 a.m. The practices will be conducted in the program’s indoor facility adjoining the Vanderbilt Recreation Center due to a renovation underway at the John Rich Practice Facility.

Mason is expected to welcome more than 70 players to the first spring session this Monday, Feb. 22.

The Commodores will continue spring drills to the concluding Black & Gold Spring Game, scheduled Friday, March 25 in Vanderbilt Stadium.

Mason encourages Vanderbilt fans to come out and get a first-hand look at the Commodores’ spring progress.

“It’s important for our fans to have opportunities to see how the team is working and improving,” Mason said. “I looking forward to Vanderbilt followers coming out and see the improvement their team is making.”

Parking is limited on the Vanderbilt campus during morning hours. Metered parking is available near the indoor facility on Children’s Way and Jess Neely Drive. Public parking also is available in 25th Avenue Garage off the Highland Avenue entrance.

The public entrance for fans attending practice is located on the east side of the indoor facility. It can be accessed from the walkway between the recreation center and soccer-lacrosse stadium.

The Vanderbilt roster features more than 50 returning letterwinners. Twenty-five players who started multiple games a year ago are back, including All-Southeastern Conference linebacker Zach Cunningham, record-breaking running back Ralph Webb, wide receiver Trent Sherfield, cornerbacks Torren McGaster and Tre Herndon, and safety Oren Burks.

2016 season tickets are now on sale, ranging from $141 for south end-zone locations to $256 for sideline seats. A special Commodore Family Plan, priced at $404, features two adult tickets and two youth tickets in south end-zone sections. A limited general admission section near the north end-zone is $126.

All of Vanderbilt’s season ticket prices are the same as a year ago.

Vanderbilt’s impressive home schedule features SEC games against South Carolina, Sept. 1; Florida, Oct. 1; Ole Miss, Nov. 19; and Tennessee, Nov. 26. The non-conference opponents are both from the Nashville area: Middle Tennessee on Sept. 10 and Tennessee State on Oct. 16.
