Turnovers doom Dores in loss to No. 18 Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt turned the ball over 24 times on Sunday afternoon in a 71-55 loss to No. 18 Kentucky at Memorial Gym.

Christa Reed led the Commodores with 17 points and two rebounds off the bench in the loss. Minta Spears added 10 points. The Wildcats scored 24 points off turnovers to help drop Vanderbilt to 15-10 overall and 4-8 in the Southeastern Conference.

The Commodores travel to Florida on Thursday to take on the Gators.
