-With the 60-59 win, Vanderbilt now owns a 11-8 overall record, with a 4-4 slate in league play
-The Commodores lead the series over Florida 66-63.
– The last time the Commodores won a game by one point was against Georgia on 2/27/15, (W, 63-62)
– Vanderbilt starters; Luke Kornet (F), Wade Baldwin IV (G), Matthew Fisher-Davis (G), Jeff Roberson (F) and Damian Jones (C). It was the first time this season the Commodores have used that lineup.

Team Notes:
– At the half the Commodores led Florida; 30-19.
– Vanderbilt shot 40.9% from the floor and 33.3% from the three.
– Dores took away the three in the first half, holding the Gators 0-10 in the first half, but Florida rebounded in the second half and shot 58.3% in the period.
– Florida shot 32.9% from the field and 31.8% from behind the arc.
– Vanderbilt’s largest lead of the night came in the second half (14 points, 14:24 to go in 2nd half.
– VU led the game in assists (9), turnovers (19), and blocks (9).
– The Gators led in rebounds (43), steals (6) and personal fouls (24).
-Florida outscored Vanderbilt, 18-0, in bench points.
-The Gators also made more threes (7) than the Commodores (3) on the night. Vanderbilt is now 1-2 in games in which their opponent makes more threes.

Individual Notes:
– With 20 points and 12 rebounds, Damian Jones recorded his 4th double-double of the season and 11th overall in his career.
-In the first half alone, Jones secured his 15th double-digit game of the season and 63rd overall (13 points).
– Jones tied a season-high 14 field goal attempts
-Wade Baldwin scored his fourth 20+ point game of the year with 24 points, one point shy of a career high.
-Jones and Baldwin combined to go 17-25 from the free-throw line.
Luke Kornet had his fourth 5+ block game with six blocks.
