The season resumes: After a break for winter holidays the Commodores return to the lanes Friday through Sunday at the Mid-Winter Classic, hosted by Arkansas State.

The tourney field: Alabama State, Arkansas State, Central Missouri, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Nebraska, UMES, McKendree, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Valparaiso, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Tourney format: Friday – 11:00 CST Five, 5-game Bakers
Saturday – 9:30 CST First of five traditional games
Sunday – 8:30 CST Best-of-seven Bakers

Following the tourney: Here is the Cube link to watch the live stream. Game updates can be found on Vandy Bowling’s Twitter (@VandyBowling) and Facebook pages. The reliability of this technology rests almost entirely on the strength or weakness of the wifi signal in the center.

‘Dores taking 10: The relatively short bus ride allows Vanderbilt to travel 10 members of its roster. They are seniors Amanda Fry, Robyn Renslow and Tori Ferris, juniors Giselle Poss, Nicole Powell and Olivia Wirtz, sophomores Katie Stark and Kendyll Dellinger and freshmen Jordan Newham and Chris Quah.

Strong fall results: The Commodores are 40-15 after one of the best fall campaigns in the country with one championship, two second place finishes and a fourth.

Last year in Jonesboro: It was one of the team’s roughest patches of the season, placing sixth with a subpar 4-7 record. Robyn Renslow was seventh to lead the Vandy contingent.
