NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that Vanderbilt’s road game at South Carolina on October 17 will start at 3 p.m. CT and be televised by SEC Network.
This will mark Vanderbilt’s second 3 p.m. CT start of the season and first since September 19 against Austin Peay. Vanderbilt and South Carolina haven’t met in a game starting before 6 p.m. CT since 2007 when the Commodores defeated then-No. 6 South Carolina in Columbia.
Vanderbilt is off this week before traveling to South Carolina. The Commodores are 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the SEC after topping MTSU Saturday. The Gamecocks host LSU this week and are 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the league.
