The Commodores are offering a Select-A-Seat day at the Commodores’ Alumni Game Saturday, August 8, where fans can check out the available season ticket inventory for the 2015-16 campaign at Memorial Gym. Staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding tickets and National Commodore Club donations, as well as provide information on women’s basketball season tickets.
The Commodore men finished the 2014-15 season with a 21-14 record and the winners of 10 of their last 14. Vanderbilt returns four of five starters from last year’s team, including first-team All-SEC center Damian Jones, along with Wade Baldwin IV and Riley LaChance, who were each selected to the All-SEC Freshman team. A year ago, the Commodores led the league in field goal percentage (.472), three-point field goal percentage (.392), and in threes made (7.3). Jones led the conference in field goal percentage (.562), while rising sophomore Matthew Fisher-Davis was second in the league in three-point field goal percentage (.401).
The second rendition of the Alumni Game, which will feature Vanderbilt stars past and present, begins at 10:30 a.m., with doors opening at 10 a.m.
