This past semester, a group of 13 Vanderbilt students had the opportunity to gain hands-on training for a live television broadcast as part of ESPNU’s “Campus Connection.”
The students assisted ESPNU’s broadcast team during Vanderbilt’s baseball game against Ole Miss on April 9.
Roles filled included shadowing the producer, play-by-play announcer and a camera operator. Students also helped fill positions for utilities, stage manager, tape producer, audio assistant and more.
