11:40 AM UPDATE: Vanderbilt’s arrival time is now 2 p.m.
Vanderbilt fans are invited to greet the baseball team as it returns to campus on Thursday after concluding a successful 2015 season that culminated with a run to the championship game of the College World Series. The Commodores lost to Virginia, 4-2, Wednesday to come up one win short of claiming back-to-back national championships.
The team buses for the Commodores will arrive on campus at approximately 2:00 p.m. and will park on Jess Neely Drive in front of Hawkins Field.
