Vanderbilt’s women’s tennis team is aiming for its first NCAA Championship Tuesday when the Commodores meet UCLA at 5 p.m. CT in Waco, Texas.
The Commodores advanced to the final after defeating top-seeded USC, 4-0, Monday. The Bruins topped Georgia, 4-1.
Vanderbilt (24-6) is playing in the championship match for the second time in school history and first since 2001 when the Commodores finished runner-up to Stanford. UCLA (23-4) is the defending national champions.
