For the second straight week, Fulmer turned in a scoreless start tossing seven shutout innings allowing three hits with one walk and nine strikeouts in his team-best seventh win of the season at South Carolina.

The junior dominated the Gamecocks, not allowing a runner to reach third and only two to reach second base.

His two-out walk in the first inning was his only free pass but he responded by retiring the next 11 straight batters, including six via strikeout.

Just like his shutout in his previous start, Fulmer finished his night by striking out the side in the seventh inning.

Over his last two starts Fulmer has pitched 16 scoreless innings allowing only five hits with one walk and 23 strikeouts.

Six of the right-hander’s 10 starts this season have been scoreless outings (41.1 IP) with five of the Commodores’ national-best nine shutouts coming in his starts.
