Vanderbilt redshirt freshman Rebekah Dahlman was named to the SEC’s All-Freshman Team on Tuesday by the conference’s coaches.

Dahlman is the Commodores’ leading scorer this season, averaging 10.1 points per game heading into Wednesday’s SEC Tournament first-round game against Alabama.

Dahlman, who missed most of last season after being diagnosed with a blood clot in December, leads Vanderbilt this season in 3-pointers (38) and ranks second in steals (32). Dahlman is averaging 3.8 rebounds per game and has scored in double figures in 12 games this season, including five SEC games.

Vanderbilt plays Alabama on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. in the opening round of the SEC tournament.
