NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt’s lacrosse game against Denver has been rescheduled for Monday at 1 p.m. in the Multipurpose Facility.
The Commodores and Pioneers were originally scheduled to play on Sunday, but Denver has experienced significant travel difficulties due to the inclement weather. With snow and ice still on the ground and temperatures projected to drop below freezing, the game will be played inside the Multipurpose Facility. Vanderbilt will stream the game live online.
This is the second straight game Vanderbilt has played in the indoor complex. The Commodores won the inaugural game inside on Friday, a 16-9 decision over Boston University.
As always, admission is free. Fans can enter at the glass doors accessing the lobby located at the Southeast side of the building. Spectators will be allowed to view the game from the second-floor balcony located on the west side of the facility. Parking is available in the flat lots located at the Natchez Trace and Children’s Way.
The Commodores have won three straight to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2008. Monday’s matchup against No. 18 Denver (1-1) will be the first of eight straight games against ranked opponents.
