The Second Annual Vanderbilt Football Alumni Golf Outing, held in conjunction with Black & Gold Spring Game Weekend, is scheduled for Friday, March 20.

Former Commodore players, managers, trainers and coaches are invited to participate in the outing, which includes 18 holes of golf and dinner at Hermitage Golf Course, regarded among Middle Tennessee’s top golf and tournament venues. Derek Mason and the entire Vanderbilt coaching staff are scheduled to participate in the outing, which comes one day before the Commodores’ Black & Gold Spring Game.

Registration and lunch for the golf outing, co-sponsored by Vanderbilt’s National Commodore Club, starts at 12:30 p.m. A shotgun start for all golfers is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., with dinner to follow in the Hermitage clubhouse. The price for golf and dinner is $150 per person, or $20 for dinner only.

Participants may bring one guest for dinner at the $20 rate. This year, the event will feature exclusive access to the on-site NIKE Golf Store, stocked with the latest golf merchandise (shirts, shoes, sunglasses, shorts, golf bags and other gear will be included) at exclusive rates. Each golfer will receive $50 in NIKE dollars to be spent that day.

The deadline for pre-registration for the golf outing is March 13. For register or get more information on the event, go to www.vuconnect.com/footballgolftournament or call the NCC office at 615-322-4114
