Nashville, Tenn. – Vanderbilt baseball’s radio schedule has been expanded to include 51 of the Commodores’ 56 regular season games for the 2015 season.
The No. 1 Commodores open the season on Friday against Santa Clara at 4 p.m. with the game broadcast on the team’s flagship WNSR 560 AM and 95.9 FM. Only five games of the team’s regular season slate will not air on the radio with all five games coming in the first two weeks of the season (Feb. 15, 18, 21, 22 and 28). Once again Eric Jones is set to call the team’s games until The Voice of the Commodores Joe Fisher concludes the Commodores’ men’s basketball season. Audio of all 56 games on the Dores’ schedule will be available on the team’s Vanderbilt Game Day app and vucommodores.com for free.
Kevin Ingram and former Commodore Andrew Harris will take over the SEC Network+ broadcasts beginning March 10 against Quinnipiac. Ingram has served as the Dores’ play-by-play voice in the first year of the SEC Network while Harris joins the team after wrapping up his playing career with the Commodores in 2013. The video productions prior to March 10 will feature Eric Jones’ radio call. Vanderbilt’s home schedule features 26 games set to air on SEC Network+ beginning on Friday against Santa Clara. Fans can access the games on SEC Network+ for free by using the WatchESPN app or by visiting espn.com/watchespn. Links to all the Commodores games can also be found on vucommodores.com during the season.
Adding to the fan experience inside Hawkins Field will be newly added outfield speakers and additional signage in the outfield to help fans navigate the facility. Concession stands will offer national championship commemorative cups during the season as well.
