Game Notes
-With the victory Vanderbilt improves to 12-10 overall, and an SEC record of 2-7, and ends a seven-game losing streak.
-Vanderbilt now leads the series over Florida by three wins, 65-62.
-The win was Kevin Stallings’ 304th at Vanderbilt. Stallings is seventh on the SEC’s all-time winningest coaches list, and now trails Tubby Smith by four wins for sixth on the list.
-Vanderbilt never trailed in the game.

Team Notes
-Vanderbilt shot 40.0% from the floor and held the Gators to 36.8% for the game. The Commodores move 12-3 on the season when outshooting an opponent.
-Commodores shot 69.0% from the charity stripe (29-42). Florida was 13-16 from the free throw line.
-Vanderbilt out rebounded Florida, 42 to 26, and had nine blocks to the Gators’ two. Vanderbilt is now 9-1 on the season when out rebounding an opponent.
-Vanderbilt held the Gators scoreless until the 12:07 mark in the first half and started the game on a 15-0 run.
-Commodores committed 18 turnovers to the Gator’s eight, and Florida outscored Vanderbilt, 14-9, in points off of turnovers.

Player Notes
-With his second double-double of the season and the fifth of his career, James Siakam scored 12 points and tied a season-high with 11 rebounds. He also tied his career-high in blocks with five, a feat last achieved against LSU (1/18/15) earlier this year.
-10 of Siakam’s 12 points came from the charity stripe. He was 10-11 from the free throw line on the night.
-With five assists, Wade Baldwin IV has now had 5+ assists in eight games. Baldwin also added 11 points and three steals.
-Baldwin now has 96 assists on the season, which puts him in third place on the freshman single-season assist list, seven away from being the school’s all time freshman leader.
-Freshman Riley LaChance led the Commodores with 15 points, with 12 of those points coming on four made threes. He also added six rebounds.
-Sophomore Damian Jones tallied 13 points and seven rebounds – it was Jones’ 20th game in double figures this season. Jones also had four blocks.
