LAS VEGAS-Former Commodore stars Josie Earnest and Brittni Hamilton remained high on the leader board after Day Two of the Team USA Trails, being held here at the Orleans.
Earnest, the Vanderbilt assistant coach, was tied for eighth after finishing 28thSunday while Hamilton, a three-time, first-team All-American leaped into 11th after placing third in Sunday’s pin fall.
Six Vanderbilt varsity members and one incoming signee are also in action. Freshman Katie Stark is 61st and sophomore Giselle Poss is 66th in the field of 118. Other `Dores include Amanda Fry, who was 34th Sunday to jump from her opening 104 spot, Natalie Goodman (86), Kendyll Dellinger (92), Nicole Powell (102) and signee Jordan Newham (109).
The Trials, which identify members of Team USA and also Junior Team USA, conclude Wednesday. Complete results are found on bowl.com.
