Vanderbilt’s basketball teams will be in action in the coming days before breaking for the holiday. The men’s basketball team will play Saturday and Monday, while the women will play Sunday.
The men will face Georgia Tech on the road at 1 p.m. Saturday before returning home to play Penn at 7 p.m. Monday.
Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech are both 7-2 overall. The game can be heard on 1510 AM, 95.9 FM, 560 AM and VUCommodores.com. The matchup can be viewed on ESPN3. Penn is 3-5 on the season, and Monday’s game can be viewed on SEC Network Plus.
The women (7-3) will host Dayton (6-3) at 2 p.m. Sunday. The game can be heard on 560 AM and 95.9 FM. SEC Network Plus will carry the live video stream.
Sunday’s game will also be the team’s annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to purchase new stuffed animals to bring them to the gym. At halftime, fans can participate in a contest in which they will attempt to throw the stuffed animals toward a target at midcourt. More Information
