As finals wrap up on campus, Vanderbilt’s basketball teams will return to the court this weekend. The men’s team will host Purdue at 8 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gym. The women will play at Elon Sunday.
Saturday’s game will pit the 5-2 Commodores against the 8-2 Boilermakers in an SEC-Big Ten matchup. Purdue also happens to be the alma mater of Vanderbilt’s Kevin Stallings. Tickets remain available for Saturday’s game. (Order)
The women will travel to Elon for a 1 p.m. Sunday tip. Elon is 4-2 on the season, while the Commodores are 6-2.
Next week will be jam packed with basketball. On Tuesday, the men host Western Carolina. The women play at Marquette on Thursday. The following weekend will include a men’s basketball road game at Georgia Tech on December 20 and a women’s basketball home game against Dayton at 2 p.m. on December 21.
