Today’s spotlight: Rayte’a Long
Vanderbilt junior Rayte’a Long is today’s featured player on our Countdown to Tipoff package that will lead up to the Commodores’ season opener against Belmont on Nov. 14.
Long is a two-year letterwinner for the Commodores, and has played in 51 games over her first two seasons. She has shot 47 percent from the floor for her career.
Last season, Long provided depth in the post, playing in 26 games and averaging 1.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
