On Veterans Day, Vanderbilt football student-athletes give a special salute to those who have served in the military and died while defending their country.

Prior to the Florida game, Colonel Christopher Dowling addressed the team after returning from his ninth tour in Afghanistan, advising and preparing Afghani army as U.S. troops leave the country. Col. Dowling’s son, Sean, is a redshirt freshman tight end for the Commodores. VIDEO
