Today’s spotlight: Jasmine Jenkins
Vanderbilt junior Jasmine Jenkins is today’s featured player on our Countdown to Tipoff package that will lead up to the Commodores’ season opener against Belmont on Nov. 14.
Jenkins has played in 56 games during her first two seasons at Vanderbilt, including averaging close to 20 of playing time per game last season.
She scored a career-high 19 in last season’s victory over Appalachian State on Nov. 8, and averaged 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game for the season while playing a key role in helping Vanderbilt reach the NCAA tournament for the 15th consecutive season.
