Pregame Notes
• Vanderbilt is in its 125th year of organized football.
• The Commodores wore black pants and helmets with white jerseys for the first time this season.
• Vanderbilt won the toss and deferred to the second half, Missouri elected to receive in the first half.
• Attendance was 65,264.
• Saturday’s game served as the Commodores’ homecoming game.
• Vanderbilt captains for the game were Andrew East, Joe Townsend and Kyle Woestmann.

Team Notes
• Saturday’s game marked the fifth game for Vanderbilt at Missouri, the Commodores are now 2-3 all-time in Columbia.
• The Commodores are 2-4-1 all-time against Missouri.
• Vanderbilt is now 0-3 on the road in the SEC this season.
• With Johnny McCrary and Zach Cunningham starting their first career games, Vanderbilt’s nation-leading total of first time starts rose to 26.

Individual Notes
• Zach Cunningham picked up his first career start, getting the nod at inside linebacker.
• Johnny McCrary started his first career game at QB, becoming Vanderbilt’s fourth starting QB this season.
• Curtis Graves made his collegiate debut in the first quarter on punt return making him the 34th first-time participant for Vanderbilt this season.
• Nathan Marcus caught his first career TD pass late in the first half on a nine-yard pass from Johnny McCrary.
• With his nine-yard pass to Nathan Marcus, Johnny McCrary has now thrown TD passes in consecutive games.
• Stephen Weatherly set a career-best and matched the team season-high with two sacks in the game.
• Trent Sherfield caught his first career pass with a nine-yard gain in the third quarter.
• Davis Dudchock caught three passes for 29 yards, both career-highs at VU.
• Steven Scheu set a new career-best with six catches in the game.
• Johnny McCrary completed 17 passes for a career-high and a team season-best.
• Johnny McCrary’s career day included the Commodores’ team-high 196 yards passing.
• Nigel Bowden surpassed his career-high with 11 tackles in the game and now has at least eight tackles in each of the last five games (46 total).

• Johnny McCrary became the first VU quarterback this season to throw two touchdowns in a game and first since Patton Robinette in last year’s BBVA Compass Bowl vs. Houston.

Offensive Notes
• The Commodores marched 75 yards on 10 plays at the end of the first half for a TD, matching the team’s longest touchdown drive of the season.
• Vanderbilt gained 128 yards of offense in the first half led by Johnny McCrary, who passed for 88 yards.
• The offense put together two scoring drives of 75-plus yards in the game.
• The Commodores’ 76-yard TD drive in the fourth quarter was the team’s longest TD drive of the season.
• A season-high nine receivers caught passes in the game led by Steven Scheu’s career-best six catches. Vanderbilt now has five games where at least eight receivers have caught passes.
• 10 of Johnny McCrary’s 17 completions were to tight ends (Stven Scheu, Davis Dudchock & Nathan Marcus) with Nathan Marcus catching his first career TD pass.

Defensive Notes
• The Commodores’ D held Mizzou to 50 yards passing in the first half.
• Stephen Weatherly set a career-best and matched the team season-high with two sacks in the game.
• Vanderbilt’s 14-game streak of forcing at least one turnover came to an end on Saturday with Mizzou committing no turnovers.
• Nigel Bowden surpassed his career-high with 11 tackles in the game and now has at least eight tackles in each of the last five games (46 total).

Special Teams Notes
• Colby Cooke punted six times for an average of 41.5 yards.
