Rebekah Dahlman and Marqu’es Webb did a lot of smiling and talking on Tuesday.
Representing Vanderbilt at the SEC’s annual Media Days, Dahlman and Webb — along with head coach Melanie Balcomb — spent much of the day going from one interview to the next at the SEC Network studios in Charlotte, N.C. The lineup included an interview with Cara Capuano, among many others.
The Commodore continent also took part of in a variety of photo shoots and then capped their day by participating in an on-court demonstration conducted by former Vanderbilt star Carolyn Peck and former UT star Kara Lawson.

Webb, a sophomore, and Dahlman, a redshirt freshman, were each participating in the Media Day festivities for the first time. The SEC’s Media Days continue in Charlotte on Wednesday, when the focus will shift to SEC men’s teams. Vanderbilt sophomores Luke Kornet and Damian Jones will join head coach Kevin Stallings to represent the Commodores.
