The Vanderbilt lacrosse team is stepping up to support the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families fighting pediatric brain tumors by pairing them up with college and high school athletic teams.
The Commodores are raising donations for the foundation. Those interested in supporting Friends of Jaclyn may donate here through March 22. The team will hold a Friends of Jaclyn Day on Sunday, March 23 when it hosts Penn at 1 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation was started in 2005 and provides children affected by the insidious disease with love, support and friendship from sports teams. This past fall, the Vanderbilt soccer team partnered with the foundation and adopted Krystal Adams as a friend and teammate for the season.
