Pregame Notes
– Vanderbilt is in its 124th year of organized football.
– The Commodores wore black jerseys and pants with a white helmets for the first time.
– Missouri won the toss electing to receive with Vanderbilt kicking off.
– Attendance was 36,892.
– Vanderbilt captains for the game were Austyn Carta-Samuels, Javon Marshall, Andre Hal and Carey Spear.
– Saturday’s game marked the first game between Vanderbilt and Missouri in Nashville since 1957.
Team Notes
– Vanderbilt fell to 2-3-1 all-time vs. Missouri.
– The Commodores dropped to 26-38-3 all-time on homecoming.
– Jordan Matthews 26-yard TD reception in the third quarter broke the Vanderbilt school record with the 22nd receiving TD of his career passing Dan Stricker (1999-2002). Matthews later passed Boo Mitchell’s (1985-88) school record for receiving yards with 2,996 receiving yards in his career.
Individual Notes
– With his grab in the first quarter Jordan Matthews has now caught at least one pass in 27 straight games.
– Wesley Tate’s two-yard TD run in the second quarter was his third rushing TD of the year and fifth score overall.
– Kris Kentera matched a career-high with three catches in the first half before finishing with a career-best five catches for 39 yards.
– Kenny Ladler made 10 tackles in the first half, marking the second time this season the senior registered at least 10 tackles in a game this season (14 vs. South Carolina).

– Austyn Carta-Samuels posted his third 300-yard game of the season making him the first Commodore QB since Jay Cutler in 2005 to post three 300-yard games in a single season.
– Jonathan Krause caught his second career touchdown with a 35-yard reception and finished the night with 81 yards on five grabs.
– Kenny Ladler matched his career-best from earlier this season (at South Carolina) with 14 tackles.
Offensive Notes
– Vanderbilt’s 15-play scoring drive in the second quarter capped by Wesley Tate’s two-yard run marked the Dores’ longest scoring drive of the season.
– The Commodores’ first two scoring drives of the night were both 75-yard drives.
– The Dores posted 400-plus yards for the fourth time this season putting up 468 yards.
Defensive Notes
