Vanderbilt football packed its bags and headed to the Northeast Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours prior to its first game in the state of Massachusetts in 50 years.
Under clear blue skies, the Commodores left at lunch and landed two hours and 30 minutes later at Logan Airport in Boston. Vanderbilt will face UMass Saturday at 11 a.m. CT at Gillette Stadium, home of the three-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
