Incoming freshman Matthias Schwab and Zach Herr will tee it up in the 113th U.S. Amateur this upcoming Monday when stroke play begins at The Country Club of Brookline, Mass., and the Charles River Country Club in Newton, Mass.
Thirty-six holes of stroke play will take place at the two courses on Monday and Tuesday, with the top 64 golfers advancing to match play, which will be played at The Country Club of Brookline.
Schwab automatically qualified for the tournament and was exempt from qualifying because he is ranked in the World Amateur Golf Rankings top 50, while Herr won his qualifier at The LInks at Spring Church in Apollo, Pa. Herr tees off at 2:10 p.m. ET on Monday off of the first tee of The Country Club, while Schwab begins his U.S. Amateur at 1:25 p.m. ET off of the 10th tee at Charles River.
