In just a few days, Vanderbilt’s men’s basketball team will cross the Atlantic Ocean for a 10-day foreign tour that will take the Commodores to Greece and Italy.
On Wednesday, members of the team met with the media to preview the upcoming trip. It will be the team’s first international trip since 2009 when Vanderbilt traveled to Australia.
“All of our trips in the past have provided us with an opportunity to develop an extreme form of chemistry and togetherness,” Head Coach Kevin Stallings said.
“We have some unique things to the trip that I think our players will really enjoy and certainly the basketball piece of it will be really good, but I think the cultural experience for our players will be awesome as well.”
