With the season opener fast approaching, Vanderbilt will give its football fans the chance to win prizes every day leading up to kickoff on its Facebook page.
The social media driven promotion titled “Countdown to Kickoff” will start Friday, Aug. 9, 20 days prior to the Commodores’ matchup with Ole Miss at Vanderbilt Stadium on Aug. 29.
Fans can participate in trivia questions and tasks each day to win prizes, including the Athlon Magazine “FlyBoyz” issue, VUFB lunch box, James Franklin autographed items, and the grand prize of a night stay in a hotel in downtown Nashville and two tickets to a future Vanderbilt football home game.
The contest will originate on Vanderbilt athletics’ Facebook page, but will also include a number of Vanderbilt’s other social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram. The number of giveaways will correspond to the number of days until Aug. 29.
Please note that high school students are not eligible to win prizes due to NCAA rules.
