SUNRISE, Fla. – Former Vanderbilt star Brittni Hamilton teamed with Eddie Vandaniker to win the gold medal in mixed doubles at the Lee Evans Tournament of the Americas Thursday.
Hamilton began with a torrid 232-210-247 (689) to set a strong pace and Vandaniker was red hot over the last three games of the six-game event as the duo beat a Columbian team by 38 pins. Canada won the bronze and Vandy’s Josie Earnest and her partner Steve Smith were fourth.
The tournament concludes Friday with the all events competition.
