Matt Freije is one of Vanderbilt’s all-time great players. After departing Vanderbilt as the school’s all-time leading scorer, Freije embarked on a long professional career that took him all over the world.
On Saturday, Freije will be back in Memorial Gymnasium for the inaugural Alumni Game. Freije recently sat down to discuss the Alumni Game and many other topics with VUcommodores.com.
“I’ll be ready to play for one day and I can make sure that all the other older guys are too,” Freije said.
The Alumni Game will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. Admission and parking are free and the first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster.
