SUNRISE, Fla. – The medals keep coming for Vanderbilt alumni Josie Earnest and Brittni Hamilton.
At the Lee Evans Tournament for the Americas, the Commodore duo won the doubles gold medal Wednesday by a comfortable margin over silver medalist Venezuela with Canada earning the bronze.
Earnest-Hamilton combined to knock down 1,254 pins in six games. Hamilton had best games of 236 and 233 while Earnest’s 257 in the fifth game was the best of the day.
The tournament continues with mixed doubles Thursday and all-events Friday.
