Carey Spear Pooch Punt is Downed at 2-Yard Line at Missouri

http://vucommodores.com - Trailing 6-0 at Missouri, Vanderbilt's Carey Spear lined up for a 52-yard field goal try. However, instead of attempting what would have been a career-long kick, Spear took a direct snap and executed a perfect pooch punt that was downed at the 2-yard line by snapper Andrew East. Vanderbilt's defense would hold the Tigers on their next possession and force them to punt from the back of the end zone. On the punt attempt, the snap went through the punter's hands and out of the end zone for a safety. (12/13/12)
