During Thanksgiving week, you can spend some time following the Commodores. When you are not eating turkey at the dinner table, be sure to catch up with Vanderbilt’s football and men’s and women’s basketball teams this week.
Vanderbilt’s football team will play its final regular season game Saturday at Wake Forest. The Commodores and Demon Deacons kick at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU. Vanderbilt is 7-4 overall, while Wake Forest is 5-6 on the year. For everything you need to know regarding Saturday’s game, be sure to visit Gameday Central.
Vanderbilt’s men’s basketball team will be down in Orlando, Fla., this weekend for the Old Spice Classic. The Commodores will open the tournament at 1 p.m. CT on Thursday against Davidson on ESPN2. On Friday, Vanderbilt will play either Marist or West Virginia.
The tournament will take a day off on Saturday before wrapping up on Sunday. Also in the tournament are Gonzaga, Clemson, Oklahoma and UTEP. Click here for more information.
Vanderbilt’s women’s basketball team will be in action this weekend at the San Juan Shootout in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Commodores will begin the tournament against Virginia at 4 p.m. on Friday. Vanderbilt will then play Florida State at 4 p.m. on Saturday. All games will be on 560 AM.
